Fashion Innovation: As our 3rd year practical module we were asked to innovate. My collection was inspired by layers of waste textile samples which i experienced first hand from working with an Interior Designer. The print design is scanned labels from these dis-used samples along with messages ‘labels of waste’ and ‘mass manufacture’. The concept was to hark back to the root of mass manufacture; the 1960s and play with the minimal and style durable silhouette of the A line shift. Fabrics would be Tyvek, Black out fabric and reclaimed silk organza.

These boards were designed for my fictional slow fashion label ‘jamais’ for my design and portfolio module. 

These pages are for my Design Theory assignment 2. The idea was to complete the four patterns with the aim of being published.

Design Development and Portfolio. Comme Des Garcons designs, illustrations and technical boards using a mixture of mixed media from pen, water colour, acrylic, and computer aid.

For my Summer 2010 job, I worked in a successful Vintage clothes shop called the ‘Vintage Deli’. I was given the position of in-house stylist and helped with the online, media promotion of the shop. Here are a few examples of pages i created for the Blog and customer emails.

For our Digital and Professional development module, we were asked to create a 25 page booklet. We were asked to repeat designs, 3 of these pages were done in Indesign and the rest were done using Illustrator. This helped us improve our computer skills.
